why is new york such a bitch?

moving here cost me so much - a man, a couch, financial stability, and a comfortable and active social life. it's enough to make a person want to pack up and move, especially since being here i have gained very little in peace of mind. what it has gained me is a severe dose of reality, debt, tension headaches, and 10lbs of what little mass i had.

but then you spend all day in the park and somehow everything seems to be ok.
i still have no couch, boyfriend, or disposable income...but there's the hope of those things.

by the by, i think that i might have a republican on my hands. i mean.. why? WHY?
